On a recent trip to New York City to tape a fashion segment for ABC; Distinction’s owner Berta stopped by Patricia Field’s (famed Sex & The City Costume Designer) to collect her Eiffel Tower Handbag seen in the upcoming Sex and The City Movie which hits theaters May 30th. Knowing this will be the “it” bag of 2008 and hard to come by, Berta decided to do good with her handbag and raffle it off to benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation in which her store Distinction, is a Survivor Circle Program Partner.

Stop by Distinction on 45th Avenue East to see the bag and make your donation. All donations received in the store will be donated to local organizations within the Twin Ports fighting against breast cancer right here at home including the Young Survival Coalition in Duluth and The Breast Cancer Advocacy Project in Duluth.
We are excited to raise money to join in the fight against breast cancer and our goal is to raise a minimum of $1,000 collectively in which 100% is donated to organizations working to find a cure.
The drawing will be held on May 30th.
The winner will be announced on Distinction’s Website, Myspace Page and Belle’s Blog on Couture Avenue. Please include your name and a contact phone number along with your receipt of donation. By entering the drawing you agree to allow Distinction to place your name and photo on the website, blog and/or Myspace page.

TO ENTER: Send an email from a valid email account to info@shopdistinction.com with your name, age, address, daytime and evening telephone numbers and include receipt from donation made to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Contest begins at 12:01 AM EST on March 06, 2008 and ends 11:59 PM EST on May 28, 2008. Distinction. ("Sponsor") is not responsible for late or unsuccessful attempts to enter. If there is a dispute as to the identity of the online entrant, the prize will be awarded to the authorized account holder of the e-mail address. The "authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person to whom the e-mail address is assigned by an internet service provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
GRAND PRIZE (1): One (1) "Eiffel Tower" purse by Timmy Woods (Approximate retail value: $410). Total ARV of all prizes (1) to be awarded: $410.
CONTEST: Drawing will take place on or about May 30, 2008 from among all eligible entries. Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received. Winner may be required to execute affidavit of eligibility and release. If such documents are not returned, properly signed, notarized and completed within seven (7) days of issuance of notification, or if any prize notification is returned as undeliverable, a winner may be disqualified, at Sponsor's sole discretion and an alternate winner(s) may be selected from among the eligible entries based on creativity and originality. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given.
ELIGIBILITY: Contest requires a donation to organizations chosen by Distinction in the fight against breast cancer and is open to legal U.S. residents. Participants under the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence should ask a parent or guardian for permission before they enter online. Employees of, and the immediate family and those living in the same household as employees of, Distinction, its licensees, promotional partners, prize providers, agencies, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, owners and agents are ineligible. Void where prohibited by law. Contest is subject to federal, state and local laws. Minnesota law governs this contest.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Winner is responsible for federal, state and local taxes. No substitution of prize permitted by winner. Prize is not for resale, cannot be redeemed for cash, is not transferable or exchangeable, and cannot be used in conjunction with any discount, premium or rebate offer. Prize is subject to availability. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value if prize is unavailable.
